Which alarm should I choose?
Both alarms are equally loud — 130dB. The difference is the extra features and how they’re powered:
- 5-in-1 Smart Alarm (Smart Finder): 130dB alarm, flashlight and strobe, location tracking with Apple Find My or Google Find Hub, and an item finder. USB-C rechargeable.
- Standard Alarm: 130dB pull-pin alarm with flashlight and strobe, running on 2× AA batteries (included). No app or charging needed.
Pick the 5-in-1 if you want to track it from your phone; pick the Standard for a simple, budget-friendly alarm.
How loud are the alarms?
Both the 5-in-1 Smart Alarm and the Standard Alarm are 130dB — the same volume. That’s about as loud as a jet engine 100 feet overhead: loud enough to be heard across a street or parking lot and to make an attacker back off.
Can I choose the colours and styles?
Yes. Use the options above to choose your alarm and its colour, and your Pepper Spray style. The two free gifts are included with every kit.
Is everything in the kit legal to carry in the Philippines?
Yes. Both the safety alarm and the pepper spray are PNP-certified and legal for civilians to carry — no license or permit needed.
However, use must always be lawful, and certain places or modes of transport may have their own restrictions.
Can I add a stun gun?
Yes — the Complete Defense Kit adds a rechargeable Stun Gun and a free Discreet Pouch on top of the alarm and pepper spray, for close-range protection too.
Setup & Pairing
How do I pair with my iPhone?
- Press the flashlight button once to power on the alarm.
- Open the Find My app on your iPhone.
- Tap "+" and select "Add Other Item."
- Keep the alarm close to your phone, then tap Connect and follow the on-screen steps.
How do I pair with Android?
- Turn on Bluetooth, mobile data/Wi-Fi, and Location.
- Open Google Find Hub and sign in.
- Press the flashlight button once on the alarm.
- Keep the alarm close to your phone and follow the on-screen steps.
Note: It works with Android phones, but is not currently compatible with Huawei devices because Huawei does not support the Google services required for location tracking.
My alarm isn't showing up when I try to pair it. What do I do?
Try the following:
- Restart your phone.
- Turn Bluetooth off and back on.
- On Android, confirm Location is on and Google Play Services is updated.
Then try pairing again.
Still not connecting — what's next?
Reset the alarm: press the button 5 times quickly, holding on the 5th press until you hear a ringing chime. Then try pairing again from the start.
Tracking & Battery
Can I track it from a different phone than the one I paired it with?
Yes, as long as it's the same platform — multiple iPhones can track a Find My-paired alarm, and multiple Android phones can track a Find Hub-paired one. Cross-platform tracking (iPhone to Android) isn't supported.
Does it work with Huawei phones?
Not currently — Huawei devices without Google services aren't supported for tracking.
How do I find my alarm if I lose track of where I clipped it?
Open Find My (iPhone) or Find Hub (Android) and tap "Play Sound." The alarm will chime so you can follow the sound to it.
How far can the location tracking work?
There is no fixed tracking distance like a traditional Bluetooth tracker connected directly to your phone.
Because the GSafe Smart Safety Alarm works through the Apple Find My or Google Find Hub network, you can check its location even when it is far away from you, provided a nearby compatible device detects the alarm and relays its location through the network.
Think of it similarly to an Apple AirTag or other Find My / Find Hub-compatible tracker: the farther-away tracking is made possible by nearby devices in the network rather than by a direct connection to your own phone.
How does the location tracking work?
Similar to how an Apple AirTag and other compatible trackers work, the GSafe Smart Safety Alarm uses Apple Find My or Google Find Hub to help locate your device.
The alarm sends a secure Bluetooth signal that can be detected by nearby compatible Apple or Android devices. These devices anonymously relay its location to the Find My or Find Hub network, allowing you to view its updated location on your phone.
This means it can be located even when it’s far away from you—including in malls, other cities, or even other countries—as long as a compatible device passes nearby.
Note: If there are no compatible devices nearby, the location may not update until another device comes within range.
How long does the battery last?
A full charge (about 1 hour via USB-C) lasts up to 6–12 months on standby. You can check the battery level anytime in the Apple Find My or Google Find Hub app. When the battery shows red or low, recharge the alarm using the USB-C cable included in the box.
How do I know when the battery is low?
- With location tracking: check the battery level directly in the Apple Find My or Google Find Hub app.
- Without location tracking: press the side button or pull the top ring — a red light will flash 10 times to let you know it's time to recharge.

Is it water resistant?
No — keep it away from submersion or heavy rain to avoid damage.

Using the Alarm
How do I activate the alarm?
Pull the metal pin out from the top ring. The 130dB alarm and strobe light start instantly and keep going until you push the pin back in.
How do I stop it?
Push the pin back into the top. The alarm silences immediately and it's ready to use again.
Will the pin fall out by accident in my bag?
No — the pin is held by a short cord so it won't get lost, and it stays seated during normal carry. It still pulls free instantly the moment you need it.
How do I use the flashlight?
Press the side button once for a steady flashlight, again for a flashing strobe, and once more to turn it off.
Battery & Care
What batteries does it use?
2× AA batteries, which are already included inside the alarm. To replace them, open the back cover, swap the batteries, and close it.
How do I know when the battery is low?
The alarm sounds weaker or the LED dims. Replace both AA batteries when you notice this.
Is it rechargeable?

Will it go off accidentally in my bag?
No. The safety lock keeps the spray disabled until you deliberately twist it to the ready position — so it can sit beside your keys, wallet, and phone all day without worry.
How should I store it?

- Store it out of reach of children.
- Do not puncture or burn the canister.

How many bursts does one canister give me?
Each canister delivers 50–60 one-second bursts, with a shelf life of several years when stored properly.
How far does it spray?
GSafe releases a fine fog with an effective range of about 3 to 6 feet. Fog trades distance for coverage — a wider cloud that's much easier to land under stress than a thin stream.
When you use it: short bursts, then move away immediately and get help.
How strong is GSafe's pepper spray formula?
GSafe uses a 2M SHU (Scoville Heat Units) formula — among the strongest commercially available — for maximum stopping power.
Carrying & Shipping
Can I bring this on MRT/LRT or into malls?
Yes — generally allowed at both MRT/LRT and in malls, as long as it's kept inside your bag. It may be checked during security inspection, so keep it easy to reach if asked.
Can I bring GSafe Pepper Spray when I travel by plane?
No — pepper spray isn't allowed in carry-on or checked baggage on flights, whether domestic or international.
